SDUT: Grand Jury: Local bike sharing may fail. System, key to climate action plan, struggling to attract users

July 16, 2016 – San Diego Union Tribune – David Garrick reports on setback with San Diego’s bike share program.  Kayla Race, director of operations and programs for the nonprofit Climate Action Campaign, said the network’s success is crucial. “In order to protect our quality of life from the impacts of climate change, and in order for the city to comply with its climate plan, it’s imperative we provide real transportation alternatives for folks to get out of their cars and still get to where they need to go,” she said.
