We fought, we organized, and we won. In 2025, we secured the ‘Lower Your Bills’ plan– a historic victory that forces accountability on utility giants. By mobilizing local leaders from San Diego to National City, we sent a message that Sacramento couldn’t ignore: families can’t afford to wait. This reform stops utilities from using your money for their lobbying and tightens the leash on runaway rate hikes.
We replicated this strategy in 2026, securing more critical legislation to limit utility overspending and accelerate the clean energy transition. The support of San Diego County and seven Southern California cities applied the pressure needed to push these bills across the finish line.
